Family STEM Night
Riverton Elementary School's Family STEM Night brought together 150 students and family members to share a meal and participate in fun and engaging math and science activities. Riverton staff coordinated and ran the games and activities, which included origami making, using a telescope and learning about animals. This was the largest turnout in recent years and was enhanced by community members sharing a delicious meal together provided by Wayside.

WinterFest
What started as one teacher's idea as a way to give back to the community has become an annual and anticipated event. Teachers and parents work together to organize and oversee games in the pool and gymnasium as well as face painting and other arts and crafts. Wayside is happy to provide a homemade vegetarian meal to support the event, which brings together 300 students and family members. "Wayside is incredibly generous every year and provides a salad, entree, and dessert for approximately 300 people. It is a wonderful sight to see all of our families eating together and relaxing at the end of an active afternoon."
