Wayside Food Programs thanks the United Way of Greater Portland, 70 volunteers and other vital supporters for helping to make 300 Thanksgiving Community Dinners possible. This year's meal was held at the Portland Club, and featured a traditional meal, live piano music and lovely place settings.

In addition to volunteers who worked on Wednesday and Thanksgiving, supporters included Black Tie Company, DiMillo’s Waterfront Restaurant, Family Volunteer Day volunteers, Hannaford employees, HopeGateWay United Methodist Center, HP Hood, KeyBank, Local 334, the Portland Club, Scarborough Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), SYSCO NNE, TD Bank, and Whole Foods Market

This was the 19th year for the meal, where friends and neighbors come together to share a bountiful harvest of delicious food and to celebrate this season of giving thanks for the harvest and connection to others.

Local media coverage included WGME and WMTW television stations.
