Wayside is honored to be included in this incredible group of organizations who recently received generous funding from the John T. Gorman Foundation for COVID-19 hunger and housing emergecy relief efforts. Wayside continues to build our COVID-19 emergency services around partnerships to maximize our collective resources, meaning this support extends beyond Wayside. It also means supporting the social workers in Portland Public Schools who are working hard to ensure their students have access to food staples. It means supporting food pantries across Cumberland County who rely on us to keep their shelves stocked for every family. It means supporting building managers at Portland Housing Authority and Avesta who are making sure our senior and immune compromised neighbors are getting the food that they need. So thank you for joining Wayside and our partners in fighting hunger and strengthening our community.Read the Portland Press Herald Article Here.
