Check out our Pop up Picnic at Boyd Street Urban Farm featured on WMTW Channel 8!

Organized by Wayside Food Programs and hosted by Cultivating Community, the Pop up Picnic summer series is a pilot program of four collaborative community building events held at public gardens throughout Portland. Last night our community gathered at the Boyd Street Urban Farm for the last picnic of the summer. The crowd enjoyed a free dinner and took advantage of the opportunity to meet neighbors, play games and explore the gardens. These gatherings were a successful result of collaborative programming and cross-industry partnerships. In such a divisive time it is important to share in our common humanity. What better way to connect with each other than sharing a meal together?

A huge thank you to all of our partners and sponsors that truly made these events collaborative, community efforts!
