This summer Wayside celebrated its 2nd Annual Pop up Picnic series. Over the course of the 4 gatherings hosted by Cultivating Community across Portland's community gardens, 600 of our community members and 15 partner organizations and businesses gathered to share a meal, listen to live music, take garden tours and spend time with their neighbors. These gathering were a succesful result of collaborative programming and cross-industry partnerships. At Wayside we believe that food is a powerful tool for bringing people together and creates a common ground for building connections. What better way to connect with each other than sharing a meal together?

A huge thank you to all of our partners who truly made these events collaborative, festive, unique community efforts!
