Fresh fish was enjoyed by all at our Communit Meal thanks to some new volunteers! The team from New England Fishmongers caught, processed, donated and prepared fresh Pollock to round out a special Christmas dinner at the Tuesday night Community Meal hosted by the Salvation Army. According to Captain Tim Rider, the company and these generous professionals are dedicated to staying connected with and giving back to the Maine community, which includes volunteering, donating fish and collaborating with restaurants to hold fundraiser dinners. The professionally cooked fish was a enjoyed by everyone at the meal and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future.
