The Community Center is reopened today. The Food Pantry, Tuesday Night Community Meal, Wednesday Night Community Meal and February's senior box distribution will resume as normally scheduled.


Wayside's programming at the Westbrook Community Center will be cancelled indefinitely due to the fire that closed the building on Monday night, January 14th. An official statement provided by the Westbrook Community Center estimates that the building can be reopened for programs and organizations in 2-3 weeks. 

The Wayside programming that is currently suspended or has changed location:

  • Tuesday Night Community Meal
  • Wednesday Night Community Meal
  • CSFP Senior Box Distribution

Community Meals:

If you attend one of our community meals, please feel free to join as at another meal! View our schedule to find a site near you.

Senior Boxes:

If you are signed up for our senior box program, we have coordinated a new pick up site at the Trinity Lutheran Church (612 Main Street, Westbrook) for the distribution on Wednesday, January 16th. Your box will be available between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Food Pantry:

*Good Shepard Food Bank will be distributing food in the Community Center parking lot on Tuesday, January 29th from 12:00 - 1:30 PM.*

Our partners at the Westbrook Food Pantry located at the Community Center services will temporarily be suspended. For additional pantry resources, please refer to our list of network partners in Cumberland County.
