Get Involved this Thanksgiving

Wayside Food Programs has a variety of ways for you and your family to get involved this Thanksgiving.

Anytime before Thanksgiving - donate a turkey!

We will be collecting turkey donations from now until Thanksgiving, though donations received before November 18th help to give us more time to distribute the food to our partner food pantries. Turkeys collected will be used at our Thanksgiving meal and distributed to families through our mobile food pantries and partner food pantries across Cumberland County. To donate a turkey, please contact Don Morrison - (207) 712-4929 or dmorrison@waysidemaine.org.

49th Annual Turkey Trot 5K

The Maine Track Club and Fleet Feet Running's annual Turkey Trot 5K will take place on Sunday, November 19th at 9 am. The race benefits Wayside Food Programs. Running or volunteering at the race will help Wayside at a critical time of year as our agency gears up to meet an increased need around the holidays.
